This Privacy Policy explains how Bradly Smith (sole proprietor, doing business as Prevail) ("Prevail," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Prevail mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following so we can build and manage your coaching program:
- Account information: your name, email address, and (if you provide it) phone number.
- Health & fitness information: your goals, age range, gender, height, weight and weight history, dietary preferences, allergies, training experience, training availability, workout and meal check-ins, progress notes, and your responses to our intake and check-in surveys.
- Photos: a profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
- Payment information: subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store. Payment is processed by Apple — we do not receive or store your card number. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status and an anonymized purchase identifier (via our subscription provider, RevenueCat).
- Usage & device information: basic technical information needed to operate the app, such as log data and app interactions.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create, deliver, and adjust your personalized meal and workout plans.
- To process your revision requests and respond to your check-ins.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To communicate with you about your account and the Service.
- To maintain the security, integrity, and functionality of the Service.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only as needed for them to perform their function:
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage.
- Apple App Store — payment processing and subscription billing.
- RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase verification.
- Automation & AI providers — we use automated tools (including third-party AI services) to help generate draft meal and workout plans from your survey responses. Your goals and preferences are processed to produce your plan.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).
4. A Note on Health Information
Information about your body, diet, and training is personal. We treat it with care and use it only to provide and improve your coaching. Prevail is a fitness and nutrition coaching service, not a healthcare provider, and this information is not used for medical diagnosis or treatment.
5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data associated with the account, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Access and update: you can view and update much of your information directly in the app.
- Delete your account: you can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account in the app. This action is irreversible.
- Requests: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Contact us at the email below to make a request.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Users
We operate from Alberta, Canada. If you access the Service from outside that location, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed where we and our service providers operate.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
