Prevail started with a simple frustration -- generic plans don't work. So we built something that does.

Where It Started

A Basement Gym in Alberta

Prevail was born in a basement gym in Alberta, Canada. No fancy equipment, no personal trainers on speed dial -- just a barbell, a bench, and the same question every beginner asks: what should I actually be doing?

We spent years cycling through cookie-cutter programs downloaded off the internet. Twelve-week templates that assumed everyone had the same body, the same schedule, and the same access to equipment. Some weeks the workouts made sense. Most weeks they didn't. And the nutrition advice was even worse -- generic calorie targets, no consideration for how we actually ate, and meal plans that required ingredients we'd never heard of.

We knew there had to be a better way.

The Problem

Two Extremes, Nothing in Between

The fitness industry sells two extremes. On one end, you get free templates that treat every person the same. On the other, you pay hundreds a month for a personal coach -- and even then, half the time you're getting a recycled spreadsheet with your name swapped in.

Most people fall somewhere in the middle. They're willing to put in the work but they need a plan that actually fits their life. Their schedule. Their equipment. Their injuries. Their goals. That middle ground didn't exist -- so we built it.

You tell us about yourself -- your body, your goals, your experience, your equipment, how many days you can train, what you like to eat -- and we build a complete system around you. Not a template with your name on it. An actual program designed for one person: you.

Every workout accounts for your training split, progression level, session length, and available equipment. Every meal plan is calculated to your exact macros with foods you'll actually eat. Every grocery list is sorted by aisle so your shopping takes fifteen minutes instead of an hour.

And it's not a one-and-done PDF that collects dust. Your plan evolves. Bi-weekly updates keep your training progressing and your nutrition dialed as your body changes.

We're a small team based in Canada. We're not a venture-backed startup trying to become the next fitness app. We're people who train, who meal prep on Sundays, who've dealt with injuries and plateaus and the frustration of spinning our wheels.

We built Prevail because we needed it ourselves -- and because we believe everyone deserves better than guesswork.
